BBC Drama The Cage – Filming in Caldy

On Friday 2nd May 2025, Caldy will be hosting a BBC film crew for The Cage, a new 5-part drama by Element Pictures (Normal People, Conversations with Friends).

Filming will take place at 4 Davenport Close and on Barton Hey Drive from 7:30am to 7:30pm. There may be brief traffic holds and some parking restrictions nearby, but access to properties will be maintained at all times.

Element Pictures are working closely with Liverpool Film Office and Wirral Council to minimise disruption.
